I was 72 when I realized how stiff and sore I had become. Pain was wearing me down. I didn't like to move or walk or want to do much at all. Old injuries and arthritis were winning. My daughter in CA had been been sent to a massage therapist through her insurance provider and she was raving about the improvement she felt in her mobility through Myofascial Intramuscular massage. I remembered the name of an acquaintance in the area and tracked down Melissa Weinland. Grateful body is an understatement. I realized I was on the right track after the first session and now the relief from much of the chronic back pain and neuropathy in my feet and legs has been just part of a continuing gift. Melissa has an intuitive ability to zero in on areas I didn't even realize we're a core source of pain or discomfort. I know that's partly training in her profession but I believe there are intuitive healers amongst us. My name is Terry Tucker, and I celebrate my new body today. Last summer, I asked Melissa if she could help me. Twelve years ago, I had back surgery, and the doctor was saying that I needed to have surgery again. I had shooting pains down my leg, and my foot was going numb. I lived in pain, but was terrified of another back surgery. So Melissa told me about Nano. She started deep tissue massage, combined with Nano once a week. After those initial 3 months, the pain in my leg and hip was gone, and I felt well enough to start working with a personal trainer. I am a different person than the one who hobbled in to see Melissa last summer. I’ve lost 20 pounds and continue to work out. I am still seeing Melissa every two weeks to keep my muscles stretched. I feel younger and stronger by the day! However, I still make sure I keep my massage appointments bi-weekly to stay loose and keep the muscles stretched, and because it sure feels good!!
